If you missed the opening of the Poimena Art Award 2009 for mixed media works last week then you’ve got about a month to cruise through and check out the artwork at Poimena Gallery, Launceston. This year the $7000 biannual award was nabbed by Hobart artist Cath Robinson for her necklace crafted from punctuation marks. Congratulations Cath, awesome.
