Disturbing Desktops: The Human Pitbull

Playing around with some December Desktop Wallpaper ideas this week I decided to create an underworld crime character theme. If it looks disturbing it’s because that’s the intention. Raw and psychopathic. But if you’re into unpretty things then here you go – coming to a horror video game near you very soon… I’m sure.

The Human Pitbull desktop wallpaper calendar for december 2008

You can preview this disturbing desktop [433KB] or download one of the versions below. There are calendar and no calendar versions available. I’ll leave these on the server until the end of the year.

With a Calendar

Widescreen – 1920 x 1200 calendar [748KB], 1680 x 1050 calendar [580KB]

Full Screen – 1600 x 1200 calendar [642KB], 1280 x 960 calendar [433KB], 1024 x 768 calendar [279KB]

Without a Calendar

Widescreen – 1920 x 1200 no calendar [739KB], 1680 x 1050 no calendar [572KB]

Full Screen – 1600 x 1200 no calendar [633KB], 1280 x 960 no calendar [427KB], 1024 x 768 no calendar [276KB]

Anyway, it’s a bit of fun in the disturbing desktop series. I have another less obtrusive disturbing wallpaper calendar called Our Little Psychopath to put up later if you’re not already disturbed enough.

Ansel Adams: The Camera

As the first of three parts of Ansel Adams Photography Series, Ansel Adams: The Camera begins by discussing the idea of visualisation in relation to photography. Ansel Adams is a master of his craft; this series has sat on my backburner for some time. Book 2 in this series is The Negative and it's followed up by The Print. In them Ansel outlines his philosophy of photography rather than trying to lay down a set of rules. This first instalment is a technical book that explains the good old fashion film camera.
