ha ha yes very good little explanation… and probably exactly how it went down.

I say write about it Matt… its one of those subjects at the moment where opinion mass will count I’d expect. Although my fear is really that MS wisdom will put it in anyhow regardless if its flubbed by the industry and we’ll have MORE complexity in browser pleasing than ever before.

Resorting to humour… damn never thought of that.

Good summary Steven. I was just about to write about all this IE8 Stuff too….(in fact, I might still do that anyway)….but I’m wondering if it’s all pointless – as there is this much better article from Kate Bolin:
